Our Story

Boneshaker Donuts started from a simple idea: handmade donuts, awesome coffee, and good vibes in the center of Paris.

In 2015, pastry chef and Cordon Bleu Paris alumna Amanda Bankert (an American in Paris) purchased a small home fryer for 10 euros at a yard sale in Montmartre and started making artisanal donuts for local coffee shops. The following summer she and her husband, Louis Scott, opened the doors of Paris’ first authentic donut shop in the food-centric 2nd arrondissement.
